    I assume it is possible of course? How is it performance wise? Any benefit in choosing an mSATA SSD over a regular SATA SSD? Thanks.

    mSATA is only sata II - however by choosing this option, say as a boot drive, you free up the other two hard drive slots for either HDD or additional SSD. I played with booting from the mSATA and the SATA III standard SSD - maybe only a second or two boot time difference.

    I know the common opinion is that the mSATA port is only SATA 2, but HWinfo lists it as a 6Gbps connection. The 32GB mSATA ssd is a Samsung PM830 SATA 3...
