    NB FIT-ERCOOL

Mixed reviews on this cooler, however seems quite positive once you've affixed it in such a way that it's making good contactand seal with the laptops exhaust vents. Looking at the M17x the vents seem pretty flush so shouldn't be too hard to install the FIT. One review I read, it actually outperformed some larger full size coolers.

Was wondering if anyone had real life experience with it?

Also, how many side vents does the M17x have?

    Thanks.

The M17x R3/R4 has 2 rear vents that probably blow more air than FIT can blow so it may act as a restriction. The only cooler people should be considering is the Coolermaster U3.

an extractor is a great idea but just like in auto tuning you need to be able to extract ether the same or more air than you take in. So in theory if this extractor "sucks" more air than the air exhausts are able to produce under full load then this might be a great idea.

BUT if you are using a notebook cooler that gives more air into the notebook exhaust this will create more air that will come out of the stock exhaust thus possibly clogging this hot air extractor thus leading to hot air being clogged in the laptop.

So all in all it depends on how powerful it is. It is ether a very big benefit or a very big negative.

But yeah U3 is definitely the best investment for m17x cooling

Sounds like I'll be investing in the U3 then. Thank you.
