I have an M17X R1 with single hard drive, no second HDD caddy installed. I am monitoring EBay auctions for a while, hoping to score one but no luck so far. Today I saw someone is selling TRDD2 kit which is the R2 caddy kit (HDD1 for the second hard drive). Can it be used on M17X R1 as sell?

Another related question is if HDD0 and HDD1 are exchangeable (for R1 and R2), or they are four different parts in functionality and compatibility? Thanks for any help.

HDD0 and HDD1 are different from each other as HDD0 is the designed to accomodate the interposer. HDD0/HDD1 from R2 will fit in the R1 and vice versa.

Does it mean that there are only two parts, as HDD0(R1)= HDD0(R2), and HDD1(R1)=HDD2(R2)?
