    I'd say these specs are medium (not too high/not too low)...maybe more ram would help ;) I'm guessing it's a m17x r2 with 5870 ?

    Well since you don't have a graphics card listed, it's pretty bad. Might not even boot. . . .

    core i7 720 with 4 gigs of ram? Its about average now. I also assume that you have a 5870 or 5850?. A 5870 is still decent enough to play most games decently today. By Decently, i mean at good graphical settings except for the most demanding titles like metro 2033, crysis 2 etc. These will require a lowering of grphical settings

    You guys are spot on right :D Alienware M17X R2 5870.
    I think I might've payed too much for this laptop and am quite disappointed. How much would it usually go for if I sold today?
