I was thinking of getting a laptop with these specs:

    -8GB Dual Channel DDR3L at 1600MHz
    -750GB SATA 3Gb/s (7,200 RPM) Hard drive
    -NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M with 2GB GDDR5
    -17.3" WLED HD+ (1600 x 900) Anti-Glare Display

These are the least specs available and i they seem more than enough.
I play games like diablo, starcraft, dots......

Is it enough to run these smoothly with high settings ?

    Thanks

Yes you will be just fine with this specs for this type of games 100%
But newest titles will require lowering some effects, metro 2033 is still demanding game for example.

    my only reccomendation is
Upgrade screen to FULL HD 1080p
Put a SSD drive in and install windows on it

other than that laptop is fine

I agree 100% with flingin... there is nothing more important that getting an SD... it will just make the machine fly. That said, dont pay dell for the sd... it would be way cheaper to do it yourself.

Going to 1080p would also be a great idea. I think the screen is also a better build quality at that upgrade.
