So, my warranty comes up for renewal in the next couple of weeks. I've had good service so wanted to renew it all. I call in to be told that Complete Care cannot be renewed and only purchased at the original purchase time. I query this with management and get a call, 'yes, that is correct. 'You can renew NBD but not complete care'. OK, I'm a bit pi**ed but if that is the case then so be it. He then sends me a copy of the T's & C's; section 5a - 'you can renew the complete care warranty at any time before the existing cover expires'. Expletive deleted .

You know better than to trust phone support. All's they do is google whatever you ask them. You should have reached out to one of the Alienware reaps here in the forums.

Well, just got another email - they sent me the US T's &C's. Appears that they have decided NOT to allow complete care renewal so if you are thinking of purchasing in the UK get it up front if you're thinking of keeping it for more than a year :(

Quote: 'There is no obligation on either party for the term of this Contract to be extended or renewed.' Not happy with this one bit

Exactly where I'm looking now ;). Just annoying they say it can be done when they sell it to you then refuse later, a simple renewal has now turned into a major task...

just put it under your home insurance I guess. Just ask for it to be covered outside the home, I think they just add an extra bit of premium but it shouldn't be too much.

That's a very good idea! haha. Actually the policy changed some time ago and since then it has to be added at the time of purchase. Sorry about the inconveniences brother MickyD1234.
