    Hi,

I have Alienware 17 with 16GB Ram, 512 SSD, GTX 780M. I recently installed Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
Changed everything to high in settings and frame rate is very poor ? Why it can't run the game smoothly ? What can be the problem ? I mean 780 is the best GPU out there. I thought my Alienware will run all games on high settings flawlessly if not all then atleast the games released in 2013. Any suggestions, solutions ? Anyone else facing the same problem.

    1. My driver is upgraded to latest one.
I did clean install after uninstalling. Checked my system is running on Nvidia and not on intel.

    Thanks

Problem can be simple, single 780m can't handle it.

My Crossfire 7970M can go down to 25 FPS sometimes ( on full effects ), so don't worry, it is normal.

You could get some more FPS by flashing your card to Modded 780M GTX Vbios by SLV7.

You will see better performance once NVIDIA releases another driver with better optimizations for AC: Black Flag. This is how BF4 was in the beginning, too - almost unplayable until two more drivers were released. Until then, you may need to lower settings even more.

This is true, the new nvidia GFX drivers should help to improve the gaming experience of that game.
