    Audio Settings in BFBC2? ATH AD700 Headphones?

    Hey guys
    I just ordered a set of Audio Technica AD700 headphones for gaming. Everybody who has a pair of these headphones says that they are incredible for gaming and movies. Mostly because of their soundstage. My question is what audio setting do you all use in BC2? Hifi-Home Cinema- Headphones- Wartapes etc etc? Also are there any other settings on the M17X R2 I need to look at? There's an IDT Control Panel for our Alienware lappys. There are some settings in their but I'm not to familiar with them. I currently have it set to Music and the EQ is set to Rap.

    What are y'all using??

    Yeh chiefs. I do. I've played through the campaign twice now. Awesome game.
    Love the sounds in that game.

    I'm currently playing MOH Tier 1 oles! ;) :D

    Haha Rob I set it to game in the IDT control panel, and our onboard sound is not that bad. I use wartapes in Bad company 2 sounds are clearer than Hifi. I just ordered a new headset myself lookin forward to pwnin some more with these turtle beaches!

    The speakers in the 17x (both R1 and R2) are much better than any other lappie I have owned. The XPS M1730 had a subwoofer however the 17x holds its own compared to the M1730. In the end, you have to remember this is a laptop and they are lappie speakers - so do not expect the world in terms of thundering THX sound (joke).

    External speakers or high end headphones (I have Senheiser in addition to the TactX headset) will sound much better. As others have mentioned, WarTapes in BC2 is the way to go. :)

    I just realized the M17X doesn't have a Digital out like the Sager Laptops have. Is there any way to hook up a DAC to our laptops.
    BTW I use Wartapes too. I wasn't sure if we should use the headphone option for headphones. I get my AD700's tomorrow! I hope I'm happy. I'm using apple earbuds at the moment :(
