How is easy is it to rollback to a previous BIOS version? Is it just a case of downloading the previous file and running it from within Windows? Reason I ask is because I am convinced my sluggish boot up co-incided with flashing to A08 a few weeks ago. I want to try and go back to A06 and see if that was the case.

    Thanks,
    Wayne

Yes you just flash another BIOS as you said.

Same process exactly, but A06 is not currently available from Dell.

    Cheers Rev,

I am hoping I've still got it saved down in my downloads folder. Otherwise I'll just try A04 or A07. It's frustrating because I cannot remember how my boot was prior to A08 but I suspect it wasn't as bad. Believe me I tried everything so far (apart from re-install windows). I know having a mechanical hard drive doesn't help but I don't think I should be getting a 40 seconds wait on the welcome screen. Everything else is quick, BIOS to login screen is pretty fast, once desktop shows it's pretty quick to become usable. It's just the middle 'Welcome' screen.

The BIOS is being slow for me as well, I use A08, just wait for A09 I guess.

Dell A04 is the best... but not good in overclock. :(
