Yes, we're talking about the new model. I can't believe Dell right now, this is some sort of sick joke.
I've been waiting since the 25th, laptop finally gets shipped, 11:33PM on the 2nd of August. A LONG WEEKEND. I couldn't believe that, I was going crazy all weekend.
Dells ETA was the 7th, then I found out it was being shipped by Purolator -.- 8th came by, representative told me it would be shipped anytime before 8:00PM. 5:33PM and it's back at the depot.
On the 9th a Purolator representative tells me it will be here around 1PM. 2:30PM and it finally arrives, I take it out of the box and turn it on.
FJDOGJRGIHJREOHGPREJHIREJGOIERGJR. That's literally all I hear coming from the speakers, sit on hold with Dell for 45 minutes before getting connected.
3 new audio drivers later, the sound stops and the call is terminated. Minutes later it starts, back on hold and I'm told it needs to be replaced and it will take 2 weeks.
Someone PLEASE tell me what I can do so I don't have to ship it back to them... I don't want to go through all this again.![]()

I understand your pain, but with new systems like this .. Being on back order, unless it is a driver issue then there isn't much we can do to help about a hardware issue. I'm sorry to say that :\

Although if it is indeed a hardware issue why was it not picked up before it was shipped out I wonder?
