For the first time, I was running Arkham Asylum when random pixelated lines propogate the screen followed by an instant system reboot when I was on Warcraft 3 later.
I also encountered several instances when my system hangs, especially when I'm on Warcraft III.
The last Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) I had registered the source as Kernel Power, event ID 41.
As quoted from Event Viewer.
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
Here are the details, if that helps.

So far, 3 BSODs in 2 days. Would greatly appreciate any assistance.
Just a sidenote, after the first BSOD, my audio got messed up. The Oblivion intro (the one with the Bethesda logo) plays jerkily. I reinstalled the Realtek Audio Driver and resolved the issue, but then here comes two more BSODs. Sigh. Oh, I also had missing OSs after the system reboots. Have to reboot it again to get into Windows. From what I've heard, it's nothing to worry about, right? :S
Thanks in advance!

call tech support and send it in for warranty work. this is not some thing that you can fix on your own. you can try re-installing windows. but it looks like a hardware issue.
-
War3 is a great way to find if one of your GPU cores are faulty.
I would say your secondary GPU is buggared, from a guess.

Hmm. If that is the case, would disabling crossfire help?
-
try and see if the problems stops. it still looks like its a call to dell....
-
Weird... I think it's possibly due to the power supply. Come to think of it, the crashes only occur when I'm not using the laptop on my desk.
>_> I guess it's 'problem solved' for now. -
Bumping my old thread since I got another BSOD. This time, while playing Assassin's Creed II. Not graphical glitches, but the audio acted weirdly prior to the crash. NPCs only say a few words of what they are supposed to say (since I have subtitles on) before getting cut mid-sentence and are muted.
I tried bringing up the Task Manager with ctrl+alt+del but to no avail. After several attempts, I tabbed out and manually ended ACII by right clicking it and selecting 'close programme'.
After that, an error message popped up recommending that I restart the system since the task manager is not responding (something along those lines). I did so and got the same error as my other 3 crashes before this: OS not found. I restarted again, and voila, it's back. Weird.
Anyways, it's a little different this time since it asked that I check my hard disk for consistency and proceeded to run tests. Took about 5min before it restarted once again, and Windows successfully got booted.
Here's the log from event viewer. I'm not sure whether this is going to help though... :/

Anyways, if there's any other additional info that could help you guys to identify the problem I'm having, just tell me, I'll be more than happy to oblige. Also, thanks in advance!!
Note: I'm quite the newb when it comes to technical stuff. >.<Last edited by a moderator: May 7, 2015 -
Bump~ I really hope it has nothing to do with a faulty video card. >.<'
It runs most games flawlessly save a few random crashes here and there. -
Final bump~

Go to Dell website and download the latest audio drivers. I had the Same issue. Not sure if it was event 41 or not I would have to move the hard drives back into the Laptop and get back to you. But I was talking to Mirosoft about the issue and the one thing they ask was was the Audio drivers where updated.
I did find this and I hope it helps.
