Some days, I'll boot my laptop and I'll get this weird background latency that lasts hours or the whole night then I'll switch it on the next day and it will be fine for weeks...

Today, it's back and it's been staying like this constantly:

I've tried disabling Network adapters, display adapters, sound and USB in device manager, none of these seemed to be the issue.

However, I've just tried changing the power plan and that seemed to have some effect on the results. It seems to spike even more if I temporarily change it to power saver.

I always have it on High Performance, but I get the feeling I need to tweak some things in the advanced options to stop it from throttling my machine so much.

I recently updated to A04 BIOS and the 197.31 drivers but the issue was happening before that.
Also I don't think this is related to the well known M17x latency issue

If it's not the power settings, I don't know what it could be, it just happens really randomly.
Nothing's taking up a lot of memory in task manager at all either.

Does anyone else get this issue or know how to help it? :(

There is nothing wrong with that screencap of the checker. Looks fine to me. Keep in mind, you will always have some kind of latency. The green is fine.

Yeah, that is a good output. No need to tweak anything.

I'm pretty sure something's up, I switched off my laptop for a bit after I made this thread and just switched it back on now, and things are back to normal.

This is the normal amount of latency I get:

I know the difference seems minimal, but whenever it's in that 'mode' like earlier I can't play any games or watch any videos, the stuttering's horrible. I can't even browse the internet because the browser lags and it takes ages for things to load.
