Ebay, Taobao, the usual sources, I would assume the supply is essentially gone however

Probably a better idea to see if you can go about rebuilding the battery

If you truly mean M17x R1, the battery is next to impossible to find. Expect to pay ~150USD for a working one or ~60USD for one that doesn’t hold a charge

Buy a kWeld and build your own. It is easy.

I see HK eBay R1/R2 batteries for ~$70 but I am sure they suck. Put in decent cells and weld up your own.

My best bet would be to get an old one and get it refurbished. I've recently recovered a dead M17xR2 battery with a total of 10200mAh, it can run for a couple of hours with that.

I gave mine to a company that takes care of refurbishing batteries. Out of a stock AW m17xR2 85Wh they squeezed 110Wh, in my country I was able to do it for about 60$, with shipping.

For north America they are almost impossible to find other than buying another machine and taking the battery, I've seen dead ones go for over $100 and haven't seen a newish one sell for over a year.

For my M15x R2 I got a battery from electropapa - German site that sells the stuff. The battery was about 60 euro, the quality/capacity is... eeh? But hey, I ain't complaining too much, plus another 60 and you get a refurbish.
But I've just checked and they don't seem to have it.
    Here's one:
    https://www.cpumedics.com/dell-c852j-9-cell-85whr-lithium-ion-battery-for-alienware-m17x/

EDIT: I've stated it before in M15xR2 topic - avoid BatteryUpgrade site. I can vouch for Electropapa, they do deliver. The rest - I don't know. If you can't find anything in Germany, I have a contact here in Poland. Like I said, it's 240PLN (~60 euro), plus shipping, if you wish we can arrange something. If it's F310J or an equivalent, then I can happily vouch for the service, mine works like a charm.
