Between four and six hours of battery life on Integrated Graphics for the AW 17.

I can't attest to the Alienware 18's battery life on iGPU, but it has a larger screen. So, I must assume it is less. Probably up to five hours of battery life, maybe between four and five hours.

I get the same battery life as J.Dre, would note however that it is only about 2.5 hours when watching full HD movies.

Perfect is better than what i read :D 2.5 hour full hd pretty good :) im stuck between the 14 and 17 because of the soldered gpu knowing it one of the first thing that burn with time

    no brainer, go 17 !
u can always upgrade cpu and gpu.. there are a lot of people still having upgraded or crossfire m17x r2's.
i think its more than smart to go 17.. also, gaming on 14 inch is too small for me personally, and the gpu isnt a real STAR on the 14 either

If you plan to game, make sure you always game connected to the power. Otherwise the performance may not be as expected or the battery life may not last enough :p
