I am not sure what should I call it.
I believe most of the time we need to plug in the charge to use it, and continue charge the battery not only shorten the battery life but also increase the temp of the laptop.
I am wondering if there is something like a cover to cover the 'hole' when the battery is not in use.

btw, do you guys always have the battery in place?

The battery stops charging once it's full and the electricity will power the laptop directly. Don't bother taking out the battery.
