When I scroll across the map, the transition is rather laggy. I tried tuning down the graphical settings since I had everything on Ultra High but to no avail. I even set it to Very Low but the scroll remains laggy.
Funny thing is, fps is at 25-30 no matter what settings I choose.
I even resorted to meddling around the settings in RadeonPro and choosing different tweaks for the crossfirex setup but the other settings (except AFR) gave me weird graphical glitches. Forcing V-Sync and Triple Buffering doesn't help either. Disabling Crossfirex / Catalyst A.I. didn't help too. Weird. @.@
I know this is an aging game but I have an itch to go back into Tolkien's world. xD Anyone out there still playing BfME2? Would appreciate any help / tips as to how to tweak the settings.
EDIT: Ack. I think I phrased my problem wrongly. It isn't 'lag' I'm experiencing as in delayed input, but stutters when I'm scrolling. No smooth transitions. One can say it kinda hiccups when I scroll, despite the fps counter being stable, albeit slightly low (25-30fps). I was expecting a flawless gaming experience when it comes to aging games like this one. >.<
