So I installed and ran some BF4 today....I am a little surprised as it looks identical to 3 IMO...I really don't see any improvements graphic wise but it is still a beta so....

I cranked all the settings to Ultra and saw surprisingly decent results FPS wise with a single 7970m not OCed at all, I was pulling high 30's to low 40's consistently and it seemed smooth and no lag at all. The FPS did drop when the skyscrappers came down and the entire city is covered in a white smoke kind of effect...it was also highly irritating as your view distance is severely crippled but that's the idea I guess. It still seemed to run really smooth and there were not issues with being able to see the frame drop and it was getting to the mid 20's in some spots that were heavy in smoke from the buildings. The server was also full so lots of players to get a true feel as well.

This was also played using 13.9 official drivers, I have since updated to the newest beta drivers that came out today but I have not tried it again yet. I will probably tinker with some settings and see what it takes turning off to get it to hit a happy 60 consistently and see from there.

had to drop some settings, but runs at 40fps consistently on my 6990m. Pretty fun game for just being a beta. :p

yea a lot of people over at OCN have been having stuttering issues even with 3970X/780 SLI rigs. Hopefully it all gets straightened out before release!!

Yeah its cool you can see through your teammate's point of view and then spawn on him. You could do that in BFBC2 and BF3 but this is way better
