    Ello All!
    Been very busy with summer work, and now school (pooper!) and haven't been paying as much attention to my M17X r1 and drivers as I should be. You could certainly say I've been out of the loop.

    I was just wondering what BIOS and GPU drivers I should be using (for GTX 280m SLI). I know AW can put out some crap, what's stable and good these days for my still AWESOME system (I don't use hybrid graphics btw)?
    Sorry I haven't been on here much lately.... I love you guys!

    Thanks everyone!
    :)

    Hi theres,

    Welcome back to the SPACESHIP :eek: :D . You haven't really missed to much in terms of System BIOS updates. The current and latest System out by Dell now is the A05 revision. However I can't really recommend it. A lot of users are still posting problems with battery charging and etc. Bios A04 was a fail too it seems, with all the ac adapter warning messages and battery charging issues.
    So to sum up if you are already using BIOS revision A03 then I'd suggest you stay on that system bios version.

    You can have a read here about the system Bios updates as well.

    Have a read through if you like. Cheers.

    Also in terms of Nvidia driver updates for your 2 GTX 280m's as you know Nvidia pump out new drivers like almost every other day LOL. Dell has also been quite busy pumping out some of their own dell Nvidia drivers.

    Couple of links to the recent updates here for you;

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 258.96 WHQL

    Dell - Support

    and for previous dell driver options;

    Dell - Support

    Cheers.

    HMMMmmmssss......... Unfortunately thats a tough one to say atm. Many users seem to be on different drivers. Some are having much better luck with the latest dell or Nvidia drivers where others keep having on going issues. Not to sure if its random problems or hardware related or just pure coincidence. However you could either give the new dell released drivers or Nvidia ones a go 1st. Test for stability and performance on your machine. If all goes well then yeh just stick to them for the time being. I'm sure Nvidia will be releasing another driver real soon.

    Cheers.
