Hi everybody,

Its been quite a while since I came here

I have a M17x R1, and was having stuttering and lock up problem (I never got ridden of these problems)

I want to have my laptop up-to-date

There is so many threads here that it is kind of confusing what should I do...

I ever updated my bios after bios A03

I have nvidia 280 SLI, drivers 197.xxx (don<t quite remember)

I want to know what should I update (I dont't want to blindly download updates from Dell)

Hello. First update your BIOS to the A06. and then download this M17x-R1 Test EC Update 850-9662 - Alienware Forum - Alienware Club - Dell Community I am still using 197.84 driver as it is the most stable driver today. Other things to upgrade? Is the throttling issue resolved?

Saw a thread about ThrottleStop... but I'm not sure if it can help me

 

For me it was gone after I downloaded this M17x-R1 Test Update EC 850-9662. No trottle after the Pach! but continues to test with many different games .. 've been lucky so far
