I'll start saying searches haven't helped me much. I've got a 17xR3. Recently repasted and i've been getting a solid single beep (not short or long really) and I have to choose my starting os. I also recently popped in a ssd. Any thoughts on what's wrong? I've been checking my temps on the reg and nothing is spiking or even going above 67.

run memtest86 and check your ram. From what i recall, a single beep is ram related

Go to Start>Run and launch msconfig. Then click on the Boot tab and insert 0 in the Timeout box, click Apply and then OK. That should take care of the boot manager display.
