    I am looking to buy a M17X R3 and these are the specs I could come up with on aafes.com

    Uh yeah that would be considered a steal of a deal, standard price for that config after taxes and shipping is nearly $1900 for most people. I'd snag that in a heart beat, if you don't want it you can sell it and make a profit.

    If that's supposed to be replacement to the laptop in your sig, it seems pretty pointless. It's a good deal though.

    I see thier point, but then how do ebay sellers sell the systems from thier ebay stores? And it brings up a slew of warranty transfer questions. Good point though. Can you post the link to the source so that others can see the official post?

    I guess flipping would be a good idea but I have been looking to get a nice new gaming laptop. I traded the rig in my sig for a 27 inch imac and since then I just do gaming in bootcamp. The only thing holding me back from buying this new alienware is the state of pc gaming as a whole. It seems that most of the games coming out are multiplatform and even with some of those games, the pc version gets the short end of the stick (I'm looking at you Black ops). I will think about it for the rest of the day and I may just pull the trigger on it tonight.
