    Best drivers for Dual 5870m's ?

    I've been playing around with the 11.8 AMD driver and it runs pretty bad. The 11.8 drivers are horrible in every game I played, I was struggling to pull 40fps in Bad Company 2 on the lowest. So I started up afterburner to see the GPU usage and to my surprise Black Ops, Bad Company 2, and Dead Island where only using about 30% of my gpu's. With such low gpu usage I lag on almost every game.

    I was just wondering what driver you guys feel is the best for the 5870m's. Its getting pretty annoying stuttering along in Bad Company on the lowest !

    Umm...I was just playing bad company 2 a few nights ago and was getting 70+ fps on near max settings (I think I have the MSAA set to 4x and the HBAO off-everything thing else max). Your GPU's aren't firing all the way up fo some reason...

    Maybe they were too hot? Try propping up the back of your laptop on a book or something...since doing that my heat problems have pretty much disappeared.

    Edit: BTW I am using the ati 11.8 drivers...

    My laptop sits on a Cooler Master U3 laptop cooler, they never go of 45c in Bad Company 2

    Did you install the CAPs? Run HWInfo and monitor GPU usage. BTW, I just moved from Columbus :p

    Hmm, 11.8 is running fine for me. Try uninstalling the video drivers, run driver sweeper in safe mode, and then re-install the drivers.
