Best way to use your Extended monitor

I recently bought a 4K monitor and i must admit it looks very crispy and its worth the hype around.

I am sure a lot of people have extended monitor setups. I was wondering whats the best way to play games around them. I would like to extend the monitors and be able to use both monitors without having to alt tab out.

If i use the native app way, as soon as i fullscreen, my secondary monitor goes black and is useless.

I have found a nifty program called borderless, it makes any game or app fullscreen and borderless. But it sometimes causes the games to hang and not all games are supported in the same either.

What do other people like me do ?

Most games and full screen applications have a borderless windowed option.

 

Fullscreen windowed borderless is the only true option. Most games run in exclusive mode fullscreen which means that the GPU is dedicated to that display. I haven't had much luck finding any other solution.

 

i agree but even with borderless, if i click on the other monitor and then come back, my game will pause for a minute and hang as if i alt+tab outside !
