but some may not and will have to go through the I had to go through tonight. I installed the beta driver and got continuous BSODs. Finally tonight, I had enough and had to reinstall windows 7 again and OSD and Command Center and of course my alienware logon fix. So a warning, beware of dell drivers. I'm telling you, besides the old ATI driver and the OSD and Command center, I left everything windows generic and the laptop is running much better. Now I just have to install tons of other software which will take me another 2 days.

Yup. Installing all that crap takes a long time. Once you get it just how you want it, create a backup image. It's much faster to just install that.

My laptop did this once I got one BSOD. kept crashing even plugged in. I had to boot into safe mode and uninstall the drivers from Device manager. Least I didn't have to re-format doing this option.
