Working on a friends laptop. To make a long story short, i finally did a clean install following a guide i found here and as soon as i load the video drivers for the Wimbleton XT, it reboots to a black screen. I tried other drivers other than the ones at Dells website with the same result.
The display works fine with the default VGA drivers prior to loading the drivers for the Wimbleton XT. I can get the display back when booting into safe mode after installing the Wimbleton XT drivers. Unfortunately i dont have another video card to swap out the existing one.
Open to other suggestions if someone can help out.

Yeah sorry Mike was in a rush to get out the door this morning.
He decided to take it back and try sending it to Dell. Looks like he has the option of extending his warranty. (it expired back in August of 2013) Only thing is he spoke to dell support about the current issue. Id be surprised if they would allow him to extend the warranty now more than a year after it expired.
Anyone ever try this in a similar situation?
