    Black Screen. Need Help Please.

    I have a M17X. I accidentally left it at a friends house last week so he shipped it to me. I closed the lid when I left his place (putting it in sleep mode) packed it in my carrying case and forgot it. He shipped it to me in the carrying case and it seemed like it was packed securely. When I received it today, the battery was obviously dead, but when I plugged it in and turned it on, the screen didn't come on. I plugged it to my TV HDMI and the computer works fine. Everything else works good too, including the word "ALIENWARE" that's lit up on the bottom of the display. I'm at a loss. I've spent hours trying different troubleshooting techniques. Thoughts please?
