    Hey guys,

I just recently installed the latest video drivers for my cards about two days ago (version 13.12). Since the upgrade when ever I try to extend my desktop onto my HDTV my laptop screen goes black but I still have picture on my HDTV. Prior to upgrading from 13.10 to 13.12, extending my desktop onto both displays would work just fine. And on top of that, when I have my HDTV plugged and have both screens shared (not extended) the picture quality on my laptop seems a bit distorted and blurrier than it used to. It's not as clear as you would expect a 1920x1200 resolution to be despite the fact that it says it's in "1920x1200" resolution (I hope this makes sense). But once I unplug the HDMI cable the screen reverts back to a clear picture.

Is it looking like the current video driver is the culprit here?

To narrow it down how bout we first, revert to the previous driver by a system restore. If this doesn't help why not use a program called driver sweeper to clean all drivers from the system the re download your preferred driver and see if that makes any difference.
