Are your GPUs overclocked? I get that when my GPUs are overclocked.

Ahh, I see that your using the 260M cards. Have you used Nvidia System Tools to overclock? Download GPU-Z and see what your clocks are set at. I can't recall wht 260Ms are clocked at by default. Have you tried a driver update or are you running on old drivers? Also is your system BIOS updated?

How did you connect the second monitor, VGA Out, HDMI or Display Port?

Is the blinking on the notebook display or the external?

What NV Driver are you using and what are your settings (BIOS: Integrated Graphics/Hybrid Graphics | NV Control Panel settings for second display)?

Sounds like the 10 minute monitor shut off in power settings?

Good point - and the most likely cause if he means it 'blanks out'. Can't recall the default timeout period but that sounds right.

Idk how i connected it, it just has one port.

It's blinking on both the monitors.
I'm using hybrid since thats the only one that it works on.

    How do i check that?

only one port? no you have 3.

on the left side of the computer, starting at the back and going forward there are 3 ports.

    VGA
    HDMI
    D (isplay)

    which one did you use?

have you hooked the monitor up to another computer before? (trying to make sure it's not a bad cable)
