As the title states. My 580m blew up so i was forced to replace it with a 6990m. I have successfully installed the ATI card and it picks up in the bios but after i install the official dell drivers for the ATI card the screen either goes white or black forcing me to manually reboot the machine. Am I missing out on something i should have done before or after installing the card. All help would be appreciated.
    Kind regards
    Alex.

That kind of issue usually points to a defective card. Where did you get it?
