    Blu-Ray player issues

    Ok so when i purchased my R3 i ordered a blu-ray player but when i insert a disc its says disc is unsupported...............
    i have cyberlink power dvd which came pre installed.

    Any ideas?

    my suggestion is simple, idk much about Powerdvd but maybe there is an update. what kind of disc are u trying (the blu-ray or DVD) and have yu tried any other discs?

    Go into device manager and see what it says. Also, like the guy said above update it because it doesn't support newer discs off the bat. The free version of PowerDVD is the suck IMO. I use powerDVD 10 mark 2 or Arcsoft total media theatre 5. Those are a lot better programs.

    I updated power dvd, checked the region in device manager, ive tried 3 blu-ray discs with no joy but standered DVDs work fine

    :(

    maybe something is wrong with the optical drive.

    Ok, well thanks to the poster who said get rid of power 9.6. Got powerdvd 11 and it works fine.
