    Blu-ray drive problem

    Hi I have a m17x and the blu-ray drive is not wanting to take in the disc's . For the past few months the DVDs that I burn have not played right on my ps3 . Just today I teyed to put a disc in and the drive would not take it in . I have a blu-ray rw drive . Is it dead if so how hard is it to replace and what type of drive would I need to get .

    Ok i have left my laptop off for several hours while I was at work . I just turned it on and the drive made a loud click noise and it now works . Do you guys think it so going out or has this happened to anyone before ?

    It was healing. Just needed some rest and relaxation. lolol
    But, seriously, I don't know. Might want to call that in and see if they can get a repair on it.

    Repair? No one repairs a blu ray drive... More like get the drive replaced... Whatever lol same thing...

    It's out of warranty so I'll just have to replace it is it messes up again . Soy you know if any slot load drive will work of if I have to get a special kind .

    Make sure you get a Sata, if you go with a reader over a non burner (Blu-Ray) it might be alot of cheaper
