    Blue Screen issues

    hey guys im really freaking out right now. My m17x-R3 has just started to blue screen on me yesterday and it did it again today. Idk whats wrong, I have avast anti virus and everything and i really only use it for casual use havnt even gamed on it for over 3 months. The most i do is copy my 3d blu ray collection and thats using an external drive. Does anybody have any clue? Could it be cause of the heat? I live in Alabama and its pretty hott down here and out ac keeps going out bringing our apartment to like 80 degrees? any help please

    that would be a negative. where do i go to download them and which ones do i need?

    my point was going to be that if you had changed somthing that might be the reason for the BSOD.....i hate to recomend this, but if you restore to factory state via alien respwn or a clean windows install, this would be a sure fire way to see if it is hardware related or something that you did.

    Did you install any software or update driver recently before the blue screen (BSOD) happened? If so most likely they are the root cause of this problem. Try to use the "System Restore" in Win 7 to roll back your system to the last restore point before it gave you BSOD. I had BSOD myself couple weeks ago because of display driver update and tried this feature. All good after that. My system back to normal.
