I brought my m17x to school today for the first time, and when someone put some books down beside me hard it blue screened. Then I carried it downstairs while on but closed and it blue screened again.

I've never done laptops before. Am I doing it wrong? Or is something wrong?

I recall it's related to the free fall sensor , it can be deactivated search in the forum there are a lot of threads about this I would tell you how to do it but I have a R1 without free fall sensor

It could also just be a loose internal connector, but I would try disabling the free-fall sensor first before opening your machine to look for physical issues.
