I'm trying to play hitman absolution on Ultra settings but im getting like 2fps. i got a 7970m w/ 12gb ram 2.7 o/c to 3.7 processor. Only thing is once i got the laptop it was win 7 home premium, i upgraded to win 8 pro and now Catalyst control center is not supported, what can i do to check if i'm using the 7970m instead of the integrated gfx card for gaming, and how can i fix the catalyst control center? i tried downloading it from Dell drivers but it wasn't supported. thanks.

Did you try it with windows 7?? Changing over to a new OS on a machine that came with a previous version is always flakey for a few months until bugs get worked out which is exactly why I won't upgrade. I am concidering running dual boot which is what I did to my wifes new 23" touchscreen.

Update your GPU drivers and make sure you are running solely on the 7970m by pressing FN+F7. :)
