    Hi Guys,

After some help from the community and maybe the Alienware guys. Foolishly I recently cleaned my laptop, making it a bit slippery and I dropped it from a small height but everything else is fine with the exception that this bit has snapped off, but it doesn't have a part number printed on it.

Anyone got any ideas? Is this something I can even order from Dell?

+1 for super glue, or a new bottom casing to fix it 100% right, but that would require completely taking the thing apart and putting it back together, just go with the glue :D

as hunter said, just glue it back on. You cant get just that part, its the whole base of the laptop. If its something that really bothers you, order a new chassis and swap over everything.

Hi All, thanks for the heads up. Glue VS new chassis = Glue wins!

I would use a epoxy over super glue though. Super glue tends to discolor plastics.

Spot on, use epoxy, super glue will turn turn the plastic white.
