This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Built-In Mic?

    Does the R3 have one? I can't seem to be able to find it.

    If it does have one, it's not working for me at all. I use Mumble, but on the audio wizard, it doesn't pick up my voice. Hell, I don't hear the voice prompt either. And in the end, I can't talk or hear anyone talk...

    Try FN+ (the key with the little camera on it, I think its F7) to activate the webcam - it also activated the mic which is somehow connected to the webcam. It was such a hassle to find that out when my skype wont use the mic...
