    I'm going to order this

    Mushkin Enhanced 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (Pc3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model 996647
    DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Cas Latency 9 Cas Latency: 9
    Timing: 9-9-9-24
    Voltage: 1.5V
    ECC: No
    Model #: 996647
    Item #: N82E16820226027

Does the 10666 matter as the memory in the M17x R2 is 10600 I think.

The Mushkin should be better than the G-skill stuff right?

I had the exact same question. I have seen others on this forum that have the PC3 10666. I was going to go with the OCZ you listed as it just went on sale today at Newegg. Also it should be slightly faster with the 9-9-9-20 vs 9-9-9-24. Did you order either? Any problems?

I just bought and installed the GSKILL. The OCZ wasn't listed then. I would have bought whichever was cheapest. I have been watching and the Wintec and GSKILL have been dropping prices almost weekly. Now that the OCZ is there I wouldn't be suprised if they dropped again.

10600 and 10666 are the same, it is just a matter how the different manufacturer translate or label their products. The DDR3-1333 has a peak bandwidth of 10666 MHz, which can be improperly rounded down and called PC3-10600, rounded up to be called PC3-10700 or stated without rounding as PC3-10666 depending on the manufacturer's desires.

I installed the OCZ 10666 8GB kit and it blue screened once the O/S booted. I removed one of the two modules and it ran fine. Swapped the modules leaving the good one out and installing the other one and the problem returned. I had to return it to Newegg for an exchange. I found out if you do an RMA online they do not pay for return shipping. If you call them, they will send you a UPS pre-paid email link. Back to the OEM 4 GB for now.
