Edit: Sorry meant HM77 (C216 was the server chipset)

1070 3940XM 16GB ram so Gfx wise the Oculus should be working just great.

However, the Oculus sensors are NOT happy. They claim USB 3.0 as I start the setup but then degrade or drop and unable to finish the config. If I skip the config then they drop out all the time with the Microsoft win10 "in-box" driver.

So anyone that says the M17x R4 works with Oculus can you help chime in? I tried disabling power management to all USB in device manager already. Even tried a powered USB 3.0 hub....

The last native drivers from Intel were built in 2013 for Win7.

Ok found a forum team who created a signed ver of the win 8 Intel 3.0 driver. Asking for the native 2013 driver which was Win7 to be modded to accept Win10.

Edit: So glad they replied and created a drop. Previous attempt at an edited USB driver caused my Win10 to perish and had to reinstall OS and everything.

    Are these for Windows 10?

Do the stock windows 10 drivers not work? My windows 10 install has microsoft drivers from 9/18/2018 for usb3.

Yes, Win10 "modded"(signed) version of the native Intel driver. I bet if you bench-marked the in-box Microsoft driver vs. Intel you would see a difference. Most likely a casual user will never notice.
My scenario was dead in the water with MS driver since the Oculus puts huge strain of demanding 3x units pulling as much data through the 3.0 controller as possible.

So this driver would be compatible for the M18X R2 also correct ?

The M18X R2 has the same chipset.

I've asked Win-raid team to make a slight tweak that makes these permanent preferred drivers by the OS (Will not be replaced by Windows Update since FeatureScore=00 in .ini)

    Does R2 list DEV_1E31?

    looks like it:

    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&SUBSYS_05501028&REV_04\3&11583659&0&A0

Edit: Installed fine, had to install the certificate as well.

Yeah Win10 needs the admin mode execution of the certificates. Then able to install the Intel native USB driver.

Let me know if you notice improvements.
