Just did a fresh install of Windows 7 on my R3. Now im installing the drivers and i'm trying to install bluetooth, it gets near the end of the installation and then i get the error:

    Error 1935.

Also, is this the driver i need to get rid of "windows did not detect any networking hardware" message so i can connect to the internet? I tried to install the driver for my WLAN half mini card but its just a bunch of files, nothing actually installs.

Are you sure that you are installing the correct drivers?

Go to device manager and search for the unknown network device.

Click update drivers and at some point you can select a location for the installation file. Select the location where the "bunch of files" are and done.

Thanks you've been a huge help. However, my clock problem still exists even after this fresh install. How can i fix this?

Someone mentioned that they had to reposition their CMOS battery to fix theirs, but it seems securely fastened to me. How can you tell when its properly in place?

Pull the CMOS battery out for 5 minutes (with the laptop battery out as well)

Press the power button a few times to discharge any power it may have built up.

Then plug everything back in. That may fix it.

If not, try a new CMOS battery. They are CR2032 models.

    Okay i will try that.

But a more immediate problem is this:

I can't install Alienware Command Center because i need Microsoft .Net Framework 4

I can't install Microsoft .Net Framework for because i get a fatal error during installation. Somone told me i would need latest Windows updates.

I can't install 81 out of 83 Windows Updates because of Error codes: 80070643 and 80071A91
