    CODMW2 and crossfire not working since installing catalyst 11.3

    Yeah so...I installed catalyst 11.3 a few weeks ago and when I had time I tried to boot up CODMW2 as I use this game to judge improvements from one version of catalyst to the next. To my dismay, the game now locks up at the Infinity Ward logo. Have to ctrl+alt+del and end task to get out of it. It seemed at first to have something with the games resolution and my desktop resolution not matching but the problem returned after a reboot. I did some hunting online and found nothing really. Only thing that fixes it is to disable crossfire. This does not, however, give me a accurate picture of how much (if at all) the improvement is as it had ALWAYS worked before catalyst 11.3

    Just FYI I am talking about the catalyst mobility that you download directly from ATI and I also have the latest application profiles installed.

    And incase you are wondering, I use CODMW2 for this purpose because I have played the "Cliffhanger" mission so many times I have a clear idea of what my fps are on average at anytime during that mission (ie ooooh look not I get 190 fps here instead of 174...etc).

    So anyone else have this problem??

    Wow...19 views and not one reply? Did I actually stump people or is this one of those situations where no ones going to comment because I have done something stupid?

    Have you tried fiddling with Catalyst AI? Standard/Advanced

    Maybe a full driver reinstall perhaps...

    Yeah, I did a clean install...just incase, as you suggested, but to no avail. anyone else with similar specs experiencing this problem with CODMW4? I am positive this is related to the catalyst mobility driver 11.3 and my dual 5870m's. Positive, that is, unless a bunch you have the same set up and no problems.
