Hello, I'm asking here just out of curiosity to see if anyone can offer me any suggestions/tips in pushing my i7 820qm farther than I've been able to already.

Using setfsb, I can get it to run at a stable 2.12ghz. If I push it to 2.13ghz, it will instantly crash. I've experimented with overvolting the cpu and the ram in the bios, and neither have made any difference what so ever in how far I can push the overclock.

The cpu temps are really low and stable, so that's not what's holding me back. Most likely that's the limit my chip can do, but I'd just like to hear any ideas or tips anyone might have on successfully pushing it farther.

    Thanks greatly in advanced!
