    Please let me know what are my choices for upgrading my current setup for the CPU unit, thanks in advance...and which is overclockable...

    First ask yourself, do you need the extra CPU power? What are you gonna use it for?

    I mainly use it for games, understanding I won't get much of a boost but I tend to want to upgrade everything I own to the max and squeeze every bit of potential out there.... :)

    hence my brand new truck already got overclocked in a way

    Any of the Sandy Bridge i7's will work; the only ones that are truly overclockable are the 2920xm and 2960xm. Awesome performance potential, but pricey.

    Anyone have any incite to wether Ivy Bridge CPU's will work? Will they be worth it seeing the TDP is the same as Sandy Bridge.

    Other than an improved on die GPU, what benefit will the Ivy have over Sandy

    Newer, less power consumption due to smaller tech, slightly better speed, newer. so on and so forth.
