My CPUZ says I have an A03 motherboard could this be right because I bought this laptop in March I thought that the A03 boards had problems with the CPU? I dont know how to put the pic on but here is a copy of the cpuz validation. Is this the bad board or the updated boards?

Update to A04 or newer and then run CPU-Z. A03 does not recognize the B3 revision of the Cougar Point chipset. I believe the chipset problem was resolved in April and later builds, but don't quote me on it.

If CPU-Z still reports a B2 revision, call up Dell and request a motherboard replacement.

also, dont forget to flash your bios to one of the newer versions and RESET to defaults. if you dont take these steps it will still read as the wrong revision.

    A03 is the BIOS.

You are thinking of the stepping. Yours says rev B2 which IS the faulty chipset design. Make sure to reset BIOS settings to default. If it STILL says B2 after that then you should get your motherboard swapped out.
