    CRAZY m17x starting up with out normal Alienware screen+ more problems

    my m17x just started flipping out... it has a crazy screen resolution so that it is thinking that its 4 times smaller that it is, when i press the volume hot key, the volume up and down icon appears in the lower right corner(indicating the smaller size the comp thinks it is) also AlienRespawn wont Freaking start up .. so that is screwing this all up... on top of all of this.. the laptop starts up just like a normal windows with windows 7 lame light blue screen with lame little whisps everywhere... not the Bad red alienware startup picture... HELP my m17x is just reached 1 month old... so mad about this... Sooo Mad, i loved my m17 for the month i got too use it... please help thx again!!

    Based on your specs, your system is an M17x R3. If you've only had it a month, you should call 1-800-ALIENWARE and have it fixed or replaced. Sounds like more than one issue is occurring with your system.
