I will admit. I'm a FPS so much that I'm willing to make some sacrifices for more FPS. I already have the 120hz 1080p screen. It's a good screen but things are too small for my eyes. Scaling doesn't help.

I'm seriously considering a switch to 1600x900. Sure. 60% vs 72% gamut. I'm not even gonna notice that.

So 1600x900 owners, got a camera? Will you record a 5min video of playing any games you have and upload it to youtube? My grandma makes the best cookies in the world :D I will send all of you a big box of cookies! I really will, anywhere in the world!

No camera with me yet but I will say that the 900p is very faded, sorta washed out. I only got it so I could make the switch to the B+RGLED 1080p screen, but I seriously can't stand the 900p screen on this computer, it's horrendous.

I'm on the same boat. I would like to see some videos of gaming and movies on this screen as well. The best video gets a Left4Dead 2 gift from me on Steam!

Villosa, How easy or difficult is it to change the screen on the R3? A lot of people have said it's a bad screen. Maybe they are all spoiled by RGB LED screens and all. I notice there are still a fair amount of 900p screen owners here. I hope we get to see some videos.

    Thank you

I'm a 900p owner and I play crysis 2 at 30-42 fps. I basically put everything on ultra except the particles, that is set to extreme. I have dx11 enabled as well as high texture.

i also have the 900p screen. Looks good in my opinion, better then my desktop monitor which is 1080p. Although this is my first alienware, and havent had an r2 to comare to that screen, But honestly i cant imagine the 1080p to look THAT much better. Also i think at that resolution everything is just too small on screen

Past 60fps on a 60hz screen, will not be visible because the screen can't display it. If you love FPS's so much you should stick with the120hz screen, lower game settings to minimum and get your full 120fps.
