Okay .... I know this is going to sound like a really dumb question, and it probably is, and is just going to show how little I really know about my computer... :spinny: ... but how do I operate my camera? Not the nice little panasonic in my backpack but the one in my computer? :err:

I know Fn+F9 turns it on and the light indicates it is working but then what? My last computer had a program that came with computer so that I could record video. I have done a clean install and maybe didn't install the associated program but I can't find anything on the drivers disk.

Actually, you don't need to use FN+F9. Just open up the app you want to use with the camera. Make sure the app's settings are correct for which device - note, not FastAccess - choose Integrated Camera.

When opening the app, it should automatically activate the cam.

FN+F9 is if you want to disable it. At least that is how it worked for me when I first received the system and was checking out the Cyberlink webcam app.

Hi Batboy. Did Cyberlink Webcam come with your M17x or did you get that separately? I am at work at the moment and so I can't check the disk's that came with my computer.

PS. Sorry about breaking the forum rules earlier  . I actually did go back and re-read them.
