I was having problems starting up my M17xR1 and found out that my GPU died last night. I found one online but it was a GTX 260m out of a M15x and I was wondering if it would be compatible with my M17x? (Sorry if it's a stupid question I'm kind of a noob when it comes to computer parts)

Also kind of a longshot but was wondering if anyone had any GPU's that would work with M17xR1 lying around they aren't using and are willing to sell. Thanks.

Yeah it should work as long as it is a Dell card

You should go for an hd 5870m , not too much expensive and a great upgrade from 260m.

Also the 260m chips ( all 9x arch chips) have a solder issue which will reduce their reliability.
