Dell does not offer 3920M on M17x R4.
Based on what I have seen on the reviews, M17x R4 heatsink has 2 pipes. Is it sufficient for handle a mild overclock of 3920M? Anyone has M17x R4 actually upgrade to 3920M?

The 3720 can already run at 3.8-4GHz. At the maximum OC with no voltage bump, pasted with Prolimatech PK-1, system elevated on a cooling pad, temps already approach pretty much the limit of what I want on a computer during heavy CPU load...high 70's with a couple singular readings in the 80-82C range. I would imagine a 3920 would be at least the same temperature at the same frequency/voltage. Sure, you get the freedom to go higher, but I wouldn't really utilize that even if I could. 3820 seems like a better option as you get the freedom to crank it up to about as high as the chassis will allow adequate cooling of, and you get the bigger L3 cache over the 3720. For the money I am happy wit the 3720 though. The extra 100MHz and L3 is not worth the money they are asking...to me, but that is an individual call.
edit - so yes, it will "handle" a 3920XM at stock speed, and my estimation +2-3X on the multiplier, but these are frequencies achievable on the 3820. -
You can make minor modifications to make it run like way cooler and get some nice upgrade, but no cooling like the m18 r2 tho ;(, 2 vs 3 heatpips
Can M17x R4 handle 3920XM?
