I have an R3 laptop with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460m. I recently bought a Samsung SyncMaster SA850 and it's native resolution is 2560x1440 but that resolution isn't being detected.

Is this set up even possible with that resolution? Should a Mini DP to Display port cable be able to pick it up?
