... that I can use with M17x-R2 (XF HD5870s) that will support 1920x1200?

I have a Samsung P2450 but it wont support 1920x1200 ful screen and drops to 1650x1050 :(

    Cheers

    What's ur budget ?
Edit: Btw, I believe your monitor does support 1920x1200. You dont need another monitor. The problem is your connection. Can you tell me what port/cable are you using to connect your R2 to the monitor ?

i think that monitor only does 1920x1080.

i have a dell 2407 that works a treat. there are loads of flat-screens that should work - too many to list. i'd head over to best buy or whatever and take a look at screens and see which one looks good - remember to consider the lighting you'll be using it in.

and try to get one with an HDMI connector, since that connector's on the beast.

If you you have an R3 with 1920x1080 can you hook a monitor up that uses 1920x1200?

Through HDMI 1.0 and higher, yes you can. Through Displayport to DVI - of course you can :)

The only way you're going to get a 16:10 monitor is by buying an IPS screen, and they're usually pretty expensive ($500+). Everyone stopped making them and switched to 16:9 for some (lame) reason.

The P2450 only goes up to 1920x1080, maybe its dropping down because it doesn't support 1920x1200? All of your outputs should support that resolution.

I have a BX2331 that should be here tuesday, it's 16:9, but i'll let you know if it's any good if you're still intent on getting a new screen

Connecting by HDMI and P2450 only supports 1900x1080 :(

    Not worried about a budget.

I have decided to go for the Dell U2410 ** REV A05 ** 24" WideScreen IPS LCD Monitor.

Can't believe how hard it is to find a monitor with 1900x1200 resolution.

I will let you know what it is like when it arrvies tomorrow.

I see you've already made your decision, but for future reference, the ASUS VW266H has been great (I've got a couple). Bought through Newegg both times on sale. It supports 1920 x 1200 and multiple inputs (in case you ever need to hook up a different system).

Yeah, I would be interested to find out what you think of it once it arrives.
I just checked out the specs it seems to be a pretty good monitor.
